We left Sedona Wednesday, June 17th, and drove north to the Grand Canyon.
It was a scenic route through the mountains.
We stopped a few places along the way to check out the view. I had my first experience of what restrooms are like on the side of a mountain. Wow, is all I can say. I definitely prefer civilization!
The drive was only about 2.5 hours, but it was a windy and steep road. I couldn’t get a clear picture, but the orange line on the navigation system’s screen is the road that we were driving. I made sure to take my motion sickness medicine prior to our departure!
