Monte Carlo Casino has been featured in several James Bond movies, including Never Say Never Again and Golden Eye.
You’ll see rows of expensive cars parked in front of the building.
Formalwear is required to enter the casino playing area, but we were able to enter into the main lobby. No cameras or pictures were allowed and had to be checked at the door. There is a small casino off the main lobby that is not restricted. There are only slot machines, no card tables. I played a round at the slot machines just so I could say I had gambled at the Monte Carlo Casino! There are some pretty fountains and gardens in front of the casino.
Across the drive that runs in front of the casino is a large fountain. There is a large mirrored concave circle that reflects the image of the casino.
Also in the square is the well known Café de Paris.
The surrounding area has many high end shops, restaurants, and hotels.
