San Francisco

We drove north on the famous 101 into San Francisco. It's crazy to see the fog rolling over the mountains. It almost looks fake! When we arrived, Kathryn gave us a tour of the William Sonoma Home office and introduced us to her co-workers. It's really unique since there are model rooms with furniture plus random home decor scattered throughout. We had an hour to kill before Kathryn was ready to leave so we walked a few blocks down the street to a Safeway grocery store. We shared a flatbread pizza and a ham panini and ate dinner in the park across the street. After we picked up Kathryn from work, we went back to see her new apartment. She and her roommate, Lauren, had just moved in the previous weekend. Steven stayed at the apartment while we went to a girls' dinner party for their friend, Katie's belated birthday. There were just 5 of us and we sat around the table chatting for a few hours. By the time we got home, Steven had the bed, new tv stand, and vanity all assembled! The next day we picked up Kathryn from work and went outside the city to Target, Micheals, and JoAnn Fabrics. We helped her pick out some home decor accent pieces for the new apartment. It was a good thing we had a big trunk!
